The company headquarters are in Olde Town Arvada, Colorado (10 minutes outside of Denver). Previously, we were located in Greenwich, CT.
Product & Ingredients
The majority of our products are manufactured in the Old Town Arvada, Colorado.
We strive to use packaging that has the least impact on our environment and especially oceans. We've reduced our usage of plastic to only the most necessary items and closures and strongly encourage proper recycling. Our preference is for highly recyclable glass and biodegradable cardboard such as PCW where possible.
We use organic ingredients when we can. Organic ingredients are marked with an asterisk in the ingredient listing of any given product.
We use many ingredients that are certified organic, natural, or naturally derived ingredients. It is important to know that “organic” and “natural” do not have legal definitions in the health and beauty industry; companies can say that a product is organic when in fact there are no certified organic ingredients in it, or there are only a couple.
Most of our products are formulated without ingredients that may contain gluten, a protein found primarily in wheat and other grains.
All of our products do contain ingredients derived from soy. These ingredients serve important functions within our soapmaking formulas (but we could substitute if requested). As always, we recommend that people with soy allergies or sensitivities consult a physician. Ingredients used in our products that may be derived from soy include: Soybean Oil (Glycine Soja).
Most of our products do not contain ingredients sourced from animals such as musk’s, oils, egg and milk derived ingredients. As always, we encourage our customers who have allergies to consult a doctor before using any product.
Our products have been designed and formulated to not clog pores or irritate the skin but still be effective on the most sensitive skin. According to the FDA, there are no federal standards or definitions that govern the use of the term “hypoallergenic,” and manufacturers of cosmetics labeled as such are not required to submit substantiation of their hypoallergenicity claims to the FDA.
We take the safety of the environment and animals very seriously since we are Leaping Bunny certified. None of our products are tested on animals, and we require that all our contract manufacturers confirm that they do not test on animals.
Health & Safety
Chemicals that can cause cancer, reproductive harm, and other serious health issues are not banned in the United States from the skin care and color cosmetic products that people use every day, day after day, and companies are free to make their own judgments about safety. We researches the safety of each potential ingredient to ensure that we’re making the safest high-performing products that we can.
We’ve committed to a health and safety standard that goes well beyond what is legally required in the United States, we are health enthuistest and minimalist. Our “The Banned List” is made up of numerous questionable or harmful chemicals we never use as ingredients. This includes chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union, plus additional chemicals where information screened by us indicates a cause for concern.
Every ingredient in our products has a function; nothing is used without careful consideration of its efficacy and performance. We do not use masking fragrances — we only natural scents made from essential oils disclosed on ingredient labels. We don't use colorants in our cosmetics, we use powders from the earth (Alfalfa, French Rose Clay, White Kaolin Clay). No mysteries—just safer and cleaner ingredients with purpose.
Health and beauty products are often not labeled accurately. We believe you have the right to know, and we make our labels easy to read with normally less than 10 ingredients.
We craft all of our products with safety in mind, especially for those who might be extra vulnerable – like pregnant women and babies. We carefully screen and assess each of our ingredients for distinct, safety endpoints, including reproductive toxicity. That said, as pregnancy affects everyone differently, check with your doctor before beginning the use of any products if pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant.

Our contract sales program is for Hospitality Projects, Commercial Retailers, Multi-Residential Developments and more, while our Design Trade program is for design/build industry professionals working on single-residential projects. All Manos products are part of our trade program, however, some exclusions apply.
There are no minimums, however the discount tier varies based on level of spend. Please contact our trade account team for more specifics.
The trade program is open to interior designers, registered general contractors, home stagers whose clients are homeowners directly, professional architects, hotels, property management companies, homebuilders and various other commercial entities. We will ask for documentation showing membership in one of these organizations:
• AIA (American Institute of Architects)
• NAHB (National Association of Homebuilders)
• APLD (Association of Professional Landscape Designers)
• IIDA (International Interior Design Association)
• NALP (National Association of Landscape Professionals)
• NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry)
• NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association)
• A staging organization, such as ASP, HSR, IRIS or IRN
Or one of the Following:
• Interior Designer Certification
• Business License showing that you are a professional in interior design, architecture, homebuilding, homestaging, remodeling
• W9 or Federal ID form showing your EIN number

Our discount tiers are based on cumulative spending with Manos. Once enrolled in the program your spending is tracked and your discount status is updated as you hit key spending milestones. We will send a membership card in the trade program when you join and it will be updated as you advance through the spending tiers. The trade program is valid in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and France.
Our business account team can process your orders directly. We accept all major credit cards in addition to invoice billing (if applicable). We don’t currently offer financing.
Where provided by law, we do collect sales tax.
Given our exclusive pricing discounts, we are unable to accept most returns unless product has been damaged in transit. Products are returnable within 30 days for a full refund, less return shipping costs, provided it’s in donatable condition.
Unfortunately, trade discounts are not available for previous purchases from Manos.
Realtors, Interior decorators and General Contractors who refer their clients to buy on Casper will receive a $100 Amazon gift card for each referral they make (up to 5 in a calendar year). The referral program is not open to contract sales (i.e. hotels, etc).

No, with some exceptions. Design trade professionals with relevant resale certificates are eligible to be tax-exempt in most cases. Documentation must be provided when applying and final determination is at the sole discretion of Manos Soap Co.
While we pride ourselves on making quality products we know consumers have issues from time to time. If you purchase a Manos Soap Co. product for non-commercial use in an individual home, then our Manos consumer Return Policy applies. If you are purchasing for a commercial or contract application (i.e. hotels, hospitals, etc) then you will be covered under a 30 day limited warranty on all products.
Orders made via our website require pre-payment and will be shipped the following business day unless instructed to hold until a specified date. If you typically work with a sales representative to place your Manos Soap Co. orders, we will ensure they are notified of the sale.

Wholesale orders are billed by credit at time of shipment, except by those stores approved for NET30 Terms, which will be invoiced at time of shipment via email. Orders placed require pre-payment, and will ship the next business day unless otherwise instructed. New store opening orders will be billed via credit card for their opening order, but may request NET30 terms for reorders. We accept American Express, Mastercard, Discover, Visa, and Paypal, or check payment for NET30 accounts. Late payments will accrue 5% interest per month past due. Please note, in order to maintain our wholesale pricing we can make no exceptions to our minimum quantity meets.
Domestic Orders ship FedEx Ground or USPS First Class Postage. Rates are calculated at time of shipment and will be added to your invoice total. You may elect to provide your own USPS, UPS or FedEx Account Number in lieu of Manos Soap Co. FedEx Rates.

We do not accept returns on wholesale orders unless items have been damaged in transit or are defective. Please notify us of damaged items within 5 business days and we will send a call tag as well as replacements for the defective merchandise.
